Ever
been stuck in an airport with kids for
hours because of a delayed flight? Some
airports have wi-fi access, so you can
use your computer! There are tons of game
websites to go to. Here, I will briefly
list some of my favorites and some of the
games on them.
www.miniclip.com
This is a kid-friendly website with over
100 different games. Here are some of my
favorite games:
Club penguin
In club penguin, you get to make
your own penguin and have it
interact with other peoples
penguins. You can play for free,
or you can sign up to be a member
and pay about $6 a month. The
advantages of being a member are
that you can buy more things for
your house and more clothing. Out
of five stars, I give it four.
Motherload In
this single-player game, you are
the driver of a digging craft on
mars. The object of the game is
to get enough money by selling
rocks you collect that you can
buy things like better fuel tanks
so that you can eventually go
down and battle the evil boss.
Out of five stars, I give it
four-and-a half
Raft Wars In
this single player game,
three-year-old Simon finds gold
and diamonds on the beach. You
have to use tennis balls,
grenades, and rockets to defend
what is his. Out of five stars, I
give it three-and-a half.
Sushi Go Round
In this single player
game, you are a sushi chef in a
restaurant. You have to take
peoples orders and make the
sushi. If you dont make it
fast enough, they will get angry
and leave. You have to give
everybody their sushi quickly and
make a set amount of money in
order to keep the
restaurants reputation. Out
of five stars, I give it four.
Presidential
Paintball In this single
player game, you can be Hillary,
Obama, Edwards, McCain, Giuliani,
or Romney. You have to defeat the
others in paintball while getting
bonuses for shooting certain
things that pop up from time to
time. Out of five stars, I give
it a three-and-a half.
Off The Rails
In this single player game, you
are in control of a hand-cart
navigating around tracks with
obstacles. You press the left and
right arrows alternatively to
move, down to brake and up to
jump. Out of five stars, I would
give it a three-and-a half.
The Impossible Quiz
In this
impossible game, you
have to think outside the box in
order to finish all of the
questions. Im not really
sure how many questions there
are, as I have never gotten far
enough in the quiz, (note, you
only get 3 lives) but I know
there are at least 60 so I think
it is safe to assume there are
about 100. Out of five stars,
its a solid four-and-a
half.
Road Rage
Need to blow off a little steam?
Well this game is perfect for
that. You need to get to the end
and score points by driving fast
and using your gun to destroy
those pesky slow drivers. You
also need to preserve your
health, so you cant bump
into too much stuff. Out of five
stars, I give it a four.
Flash Strike
In this single player game, you
need to kill all of the
terrorists before they kill you.
By using the desert eagle, m-1,
and m4 sniper rifle, you need to
kill all of the terrorists level
by level. Be careful, though. You
only have limited ammo. Out of
five stars, I give it a four.
So,
here you have it. These are, in my
opinion, some of the best games on the
web. Of course, this is just my opinion.
Feel free to explore around and find
other games that you enjoy. There are
also other games that I play online and
enjoy, but these I feel are the best.
