Bermuda Cricket

Bermuda's British ties ensure that cricket remains a popular sport. Spectators will find cricket played on weekends at a variety of cricket fields from the end of April to mid-September.

The highlight of the cricket season is the annual Cup Match Cricket Festival in August, played since 1902 (see our Events Calendar). County Cup Matches are played between teams in their respective zones of the island, i.e., Eastern, Central and Western. These are highly competitive cricket matches with a great deal of history and tradition.
