We count on the first flowers of the season to assure us that spring is truly just around the corner. This year, we missed our annual outing to see blooms aplenty at the New England Spring Flower Show, which was a casualty of the rough economic times. Similarly, the New York International Orchid Show, which has been held at Rockefeller Center for the past six years, went bust. But thankfully, there are still a couple of places to bask in blooms this month: check out the flower show at Macy's Herald Square location in NYC. Or head to the New York Botanical Garden's Orchid Show, where you'll feel positively tropical!
