Lately I've been running more than I've been writing, which is, perhaps, a good thing since the marathon is now just over a month away. I received my official NYC Marathon handbook this week - it is actually filled with useful information and although I've only given it a cursory look so far, I do plan to read through it thoroughly in the weeks to come.
I will do my first 20-mile training run next week and so have not run much this week in preparation, although I may do a short run tonight and another tomorrow, if the weather cooperates.
I'm feeling pretty good about where I am now. I did a 12 mile run last week, which was considerably easier than the 1/2 marathon in July, which indicates to me that my endurance is improving. It'll be interesting to see how I do with 20 miles!
