The largest
Catholic church in the United States.
Everything about St. Patrick's is big,
from the seating capacity (2,500) to the
pipe organ (more than 7,300 pipes) to the
rose stained glass window (26 ft. across)
to the spires (2 of them, both 330 ft.
high). We have been here many times and
are still struck each time by how
beautiful the cathedral is. Note,
however, that since thousands of people
visit each day, peaceful reflection can
be difficult at times.
