Queens Museum of Art New York City Building
Flushing Meadows - Corona Park
Queens
(718) 592-9700
While
this museum offers a host of wonderful
special exhibits, we've always found that
the key attraction here is the 9,335
square ft. model of New York City called
"Panorama of the City," which
was originally constructed for the
World's Fair of 1964-65 and which was
completely renovated and updated in 1994.
Over 890,000 buildings are presented in
the largest architectural scale model in
the world.
Also on our "don't
miss" list is the wonderful
collection of items by Louis Comfort
Tiffany, who just happened to have his
factory in Corona.

directions and information about special
exhibits and events, visit the society's web site.
