Sony Wonder Technology Lab
56th Street between Madison and 5th Avenues
(212) 833-8100

A wonderful, four-floor, hands-on multi-media extravaganza demonstrating the latest in technology and digital entertainment. While the Lab touts itself as being appropriate whether "you’re eight or eighty," we find that it is especially fun with kids.

As you wait for the elevator that takes you up to the exhibits, you'll have a chance to talk with a robot, who, you may be surprised to discover, will respond to your questions and may even address you by name. How does it work? You'll find out later!

The one-of-a-kind exhibits are hands-on and provide the opportunity to jam with music artists, produce your own movie preview, edit a news show, create a video game, and even explore the world of medical ultrasound.

The good news? Admission is free! The bad news? Tickets are required and specify a specific date and time. While you can obtain same day tickets , remember these tickets go quickly and are based on availability. We recommend that you plan ahead with an advance reservation to guarantee your admission and save time. You can even make your reservations online at the Technology Lab web site.
