We've
been at and hosted several family events
at this pleasant neighborhood restaurant
and have never been disappointed. Dishes
are served family-style and are on the
generous side, so don't go overboard when
you order (although you may be tempted).
Good starters include the Caesar salad,
fried calamari, and stuffed mushrooms. As
you move to the entrees, you'll find that
the restaurant's namesake is an
unforgettable dish of tender veal,
fettucine and vegetables. Our other
favorites include the Veal Piccata and
the Cappellini Al Frutti Di Mare.
Don't want to share? Osso
Buco now offers a single-portion menu at
lunch. They also have a downtown location
at 88 University Place (212-646-4525).
